Allyster Black is an American multimedia artist and performer. Featured in dozens of galleries worldwide, Allyster is most known for his work in the My Little Pony fandom and most notably as the artist and showrunner for the world-renowned website Equestria Daily which is the nexus for the pop culture phenomenon of "Bronies". In 2014, after years of serving the community by bringing to light some of the largest creators of the time, and after reaching over a billion hits, Equestria Daily was selected by the Library of Congress's American Folklife Center to be a featured site in their Web Cultures Web Archive.
